Aerial Wakeboard Towers & Accessories
Aerial Wakeboarding is where PW Marine OEM started.
Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Summerville, South Carolina, Aerial launched with one conviction: wake boat owners who didn't want to spend $30,000 on a new tow boat shouldn't have to sacrifice quality to get an OEM-grade wakeboard tower. The Airborne tower was first. Then the Ascent. Then the Assault. Each built from 2.25-inch diameter 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum — stronger than the 6063 aluminum used by many competitors — TIG-welded, load-tested, and backed by a 5-year warranty.
In 2010, we introduced the FreeRide — the first forward-swept universal wake tower in the industry. It featured massive solid aluminum reinforcing buttresses, a twin H-top, and quick-release knobs, and became the model most frequently mistaken for a factory OEM installation. We consider that the highest possible validation of what we set out to build.
Aerial is a division of PW Marine OEM, the custom stainless and aluminum fabricator that now designs and produces components for leading marine boat builders including Regal, Aviara, Freeman Boatworks, and Sea Pro. That OEM manufacturing infrastructure is what's behind every Aerial wakeboard tower. Same facility, same material standards, same quality discipline — applied to a product category where the difference between a great tower and a dangerous one shows up at 20 mph behind the boat.
Every Aerial tower is adjustable to fit almost any inboard tow boat, folds flat for garage storage, and includes a USCG-certified 360-degree LED tow-point navigation light. Over 3,000 customer-submitted photos in our gallery tell the rest of the story.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who manufactures Aerial Wakeboarding towers?
A: Aerial Wakeboarding towers are manufactured by PW Marine OEM in Summerville, SC — a custom
stainless and aluminum fabricator that also produces OEM-grade hardware for production boat builders
including Regal, Aviara, and Freeman Boatworks. Aerial was PW Marine OEM's founding consumer brand,
launched in 2007.
Q: What aluminum grade is used in Aerial towers?
A: All Aerial towers are constructed from 2.25-inch diameter 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. This is
stronger than the 6063 aluminum used by many competitors in the aftermarket wake tower category.
Hardware is marine-grade stainless. The FreeRide and Airborne 2.0 models include additional structural
reinforcement plates welded to the rear bends and lower side rails.
Q: What makes the FreeRide different from other Aerial towers?
A: The FreeRide was the first forward-swept universal wake tower in the industry when it launched. It
features a dramatic forward stance, massive solid aluminum reinforcing buttresses, a twin H-top, and
quick-release fold knobs. It was designed specifically to be indistinguishable from a factory OEM tower —
and after 15 years of customer photos, we'd argue it succeeds. The FreeRide also has a proprietary
accessory ecosystem (speakers, racks, bimini) designed exclusively for its frame.
Q: Are Aerial towers safe?
A: Yes. All Aerial towers are load-tested for the forces exerted during wakeboarding. The circular mounting
feet distribute load across the hull contact surface to prevent fiberglass stress and spider cracking. All
towers include a USCG-certified 360-degree LED navigation light. We partner with Attwood for lighting
components. Additionally, our parent company PW Marine OEM conducts in-house load testing and ASTM
salt spray testing on metal components.
Q: Where is Aerial Wakeboarding based?
A: Aerial Wakeboarding is headquartered in Summerville, South Carolina, as a division of PW Marine OEM
LLC. Our sales and support team is available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm EST
